Getting stuff done around the house

Having fun...
Looking for trouble...she knows will left that bag with Nerds candy somewhere...but where????
Addison successfully found the bag then pried it open. She is contemplating the best approach to getting some of that candy in her mouth...
Going in for the kill...she did have some minor success. By the time I put down the camera she was able to experience Nerds at a young age and I think she liked it.

Addison hanging out with everybody and practicing standing up and getting into trouble.

Ashlynn with the catepillar.
Look how good she is doimg standing up...yeah Addison!!
Ashlynn with her little friend. She loves bugs.

William is trying to get the catepillar up next to his face for the picture.

Today has been a good day. We hav managed to get to the stoe and get some stuff for cooking out tonight. We also have all had some fun free time this morning. The kids actually played by themselves while Mark and I watched some of Favre's new team the Jets play ( and yes Dad the Cowboys are on now...Go Dallas ;0) After we got home Ashlynn jumped on the Nintendo, which is going to requie time parameters as she really likes it. Will and Mark were in the backyard and found a friend on our honeysuckle plant we are planting. The kids really seemed to have fun with him/her , but went outside as soon as he left a present for Mark on his wrist. Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying there Sunday. We are cooking out with the neighbors and Audrey is coming over after work to play a card game we like called Phase 10. Love you all!!!

Our morning guests

William thought it was so cool when they waved and said HI to him.

Champ was very confused by the unusaul visitor.

This morning Will, Addison and I were eating oatmeal when Will spotted something in the backyard. It wasn't a mouse, snake or lizard. It was a balloon. Maybe not that type you would expect to see out your back window. I ran upstairs and startled Ashlynn as I yanked her out of bed and told her she needed to look out the window in the loft upstairs. They were so close that they could hear me talking to her and they waved and said hello. After it floated behind our house they landed on the street behind us for a minute or two before they took off again. What a neat thing to wanke up to. We usually can see them in the morning about a mile away, but this was something special. Hope you all have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend.

Enjoying the last days of summer

Cute fish lips Will!!
William was taking a little break. He said he was cold. He's always cold even in the middle of 90+ weather.

Ashlynn coming down the water slide.

After Ashlynn got home from school we put up the water slide to enjoy the warm weather. The only down fall was they are so loud when playing out there that they woke up Addison. O well...it will get cooler soon and there loud noices will be confined to the indoors. We have definately gotten some good uses out of the slide this summer. Doesn't everyone wish we could all fit on this. I do!!

Feeding Time

Here is Addison enjoying some oatmeal. She is doing well healthwise all in all. I am currently trying to make an appt for her to see the pediatric GI again here to figure out why she cant break down her foods very well. But she is not slowing down as you can see and she still maintains her great attitude.

Bowling on Labor Day!!!

Ashlynn ready to bowl. She really likes the shoes.

William wanted to make sure that no one took his orange ball. He stood there almost the whole time he wasnt bowling.

Addison liked all the lights and sounds.
Stacey and Addison. Stacey blamed Addison for her cruddy score.
Yesterday we went bowling for Labor Day. It was nice to have everyone home. Ashlynn was off and so was Mark and Audrey. We all went bowling and had a blast. When we got home we had chili and ate out front while the kids rode their bikes with the neighbor kids next door. It was a nice day yesterday...cooler in the 70's and then warmed up to the 80's later in the day. We did sparklers and some leftover fireworks outside. It was a great day and we really enjoyed our time together. Pictures to come...

The School Bus

Ashlynn waiting for the bus on the first day that she rode the bus. The boy next to her is Angelo, our neighbor who rides the bus with Ashlynn and makes sure that she gets to her teacher.

Bus 73 and the first steps to the rest of her life. She is getting so big!!
Addison and Mark after Ashlynn got on the bus.

Trinity, Ashlynn and Will outside of school before the first day.

William hugging Ashlynn after her first day away. When we left he wasnt so happy...picture to the right.

William was tired after all the stress of the first day and not up for all the pictures.

Ashlynn's first weeks of school

Well...the first two weeks of school have passed and we have all survived with minor turmoils. Ashlynn is riding the school bus to and from school even though its less than a mile down the road. She is sitting in the back of the bus with the cool kids because she sits with our neighbor "Angelo". That's her in. Her teacher is Mrs. Metgar and her class is called Metzgar's Merry Mice. She goes full day with half days on Wednesday. Last week she even ventured and bought lunch, she said they have the best nachos ever. I beg to differ as I know mine must be better than the cafeteria. She is required to wear a uniform, but they are allowing denim so that's nice. All in all the first weeks have gone great.

This is my first time blogging so we'll see how this goes.
